The way home. Placing homeless men, women and families into housing has always been part of our mission. Our rate of housing placement is a critical measure of our success. We have always offered aftercare case management to families moving out of the center. Our aftercare program provides the assistance of a case manager for up to a year for people transitioning back into the community and helps ensure that their new-found stability is maintained. Since 2001, the center has also operated a handful of HUD-funded, scattered-site housing programs targeted to specific homeless populations.
